This is a rather prickly issue when it comes to charging clients, and some cleaning service providers even refuse to do this. The way to go about it is explaining to the client the need for the first time charges on the cleaning bill. This is because as a first time client, the state of the cleanliness of the work area may prove to be quite a hardship, similar to spring cleaning. With this, one needs extra time for the staff to work on the area to make it spic and span and more equipment and supplies are used to reach this objective. On the average, a cleaning service provider would spend at least four to eight times more work on the work area to make it a clean area.

The problem with a lot of cleaning service business owners is they start to get affected by all the complaints they receive. If you are interested in establishing your own cleaning service, you should expect to get negative feedback all the time, even if you are doing your job well. You may think that if you just keep on addressing the problems immediately, they will all go away in time, revealing a highly satisfied customer. If you are fortunate enough to meet this ideal client of yours, then never ever let him go.
